If you don't order a Fleming Martini to watch "Operation Mincemeat - the Musical" I'm afraid you're simply doing it wrong.
The Tiger Milk Martini.
Uh-oh... did I do a bad thing?
A Martini with Egyptian superstar Oum Kalthoum! My piece is up on the blog...
How's your Mercury retrograde going?
Additional Gimlet appreciation post
The Gimlet Martini is super easy to make. It's sweet, sour, tart and only half the strength of a standard martini. It was also a recurring symbol in the surreal, moving and hilarious Netflix series Maniac which I thoroughly recommend. It's basically half and half gin or vodka (that you've kept in the freezer for at least 6 hours) and lime cordial (majority consensus calls for Rose's lime cordial). Full details are on the blog under "Martini Variations"
Red white and blue... pickled onions. A coronation Gibson from @cookingwithken
I don't usually stray from my standard martini order but the champagne cocktail is truly a delight.
Friday night should be for tapas y martinis and whatever is Spanish for "collapse after a long week at work"...
My post on @eeusk in #Oban is up on the blog!

I had some very delicious Seven Crofts Gin from the @highlandliquorcompany. Lovely botanicals that went very well with some home cooked lamb and foraged sea spaghetti! I've written all about it on the blog.
The Spicy BJ recipe is on the website! If you like spice, beetroot or the colour red, or you just have a dirty mind (oh hello @sypped) this one is for you! Here's also a picture of the muse herself, Aunty BJ still in her original @british_airways uniform. Love you! @bethankain
Martinis, cocktails, mocktails, good food, great music and most importantly of all - fantastic staff. My review of @lulus.bean in Dubai is on the blog.
